September 22, 1998 was the birth date of what we've now come to know as Cactus Hill. Since inception, the Cactus Hill family has surpassed their initial goal of climbing and then staying at the top of the regional scene.

Now a household name amongst club owners and event coordinators, the Hill is the most visible country act in the five-state region known as the Midwest. The continuance for perfection has increased over the last two years due to the onslaught of upstart country bands. The band has paved the way for new acts that are becoming somewhat established in this area. Former Cactus Hill members have started, or are playing with, other acts within the same market.

Now considered by many as the most entertaining ensemble around, they still maintain the structure and business savvy that has kept them at the forefront in this competitive demographic.

In 2003, Cactus Hill was voted as the #1 County Group in the Midwest by Lincoln radio station, 96 KZKX. Along the way, they have received extremely positive reviews from radio and print press.

The Hill has played aside Nashville notables such as Lonestar, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry, Gary Allan, Phil Vassar, Joe Nichols, Chris Ledoux, Mark Wills, Darryl Worley and Blake Shelton, just to name a few. Since their first show date in 1998 at the Town & Country saloon, this act has secured its place amongst the best in live entertainment. The direction of the band has been refined over the years in order to accommodate the younger audience, and the high level standards remain.
